Bidarakatte Trek - A nice trek near Banglore
Bidarakatte Trek is very close to Savanadurg trek. This is an easy trek with the trail in the beginning. The trek has 4 water bodies on the way. Total trek is around hour and half with some part where one needs to climb the boulders. It can be slippery during the rains. The way from Banglore to Bidarakatte passes through Big Banyan tree and Manchanabele dam, one can stop at these places on the way back. This trek falls under Karanataka forest Department, so you need to buy ticket for the trek. The price is Rs 250/- pp. You will get a guide for the trek in that price. Its a nice place for a picnic with friends and family as well. We had a wonderful time there.
Bidarakatte Trek is an easy trek near to Savanadurg hill. The only difficult part is climbing the boulders. Its a nice place for picnic with friends and family. The breathtaking view from the top makes it a must do trek. On the way from Banglore to Bidarakatte, we passed Manchanabele dam and Big Banyan tree. We also enjoyed fresh fish from the dam.
