This was our day 9 onwards in Srilanka and we went to explore places in the commercial capital of Srilanka - Colombo.
It has all, from tallest scyscraper to temples, beach life to flea markets, The city has so much to offer, and everything was just like a must visit spot.

This video covers what all places and beaches you can cover on the coastline of srilanka around Colombo.

Colombo, the bustling capital of Sri Lanka, offers a unique mix of vibrant culture and rich history for travelers to explore. Start your journey by visiting the iconic Gangaramaya Temple, where you can admire beautiful architecture and intricate sculptures. Next, head to the peaceful Galle Face Green promenade for a relaxing walk along the oceanfront while enjoying delicious street food from local vendors. Don't miss out on browsing through the colorful markets in Pettah to shop for traditional handicrafts, spices, and souvenirs. For a dose of history, make sure to visit the National Museum and Independence Memorial Hall to learn more about Sri Lanka's past. Finally, wind down your day with a leisurely boat ride on Beira Lake or catch a sunset at Mount Lavinia Beach for a perfect end to your Colombo adventure.
And last but not least, don't miss out on seeing the Lotus Tower - an iconic symbol of Colombo that offers breathtaking views of the city from its observation deck. This was definitely the most unique experience we had as to reach the observation deck which is on 29th floor, we took the fastest lift in South Asia.
