This was our day 7 & 8 in Srilanka and we went to explore places in and around Kandy .
We reached kandy from Nuwara eliya , What all places can be seen in Nuwara eliya has been recorded and already uploaded on my channel.
Kandy is mainly known as the home of the tooth relica of Gautam Buddha .It holds a significant place in the history of Srilanka as it was the last capital of Sinhala Empire under kingdom of Kandy . Since it was the Royal city , this place was chosen to be the home for tooth remains of Gautam Budhha .
It is a sacred city, it has so much more to offer.
