Vandalur zoo or Arignar Anna Zoological Park is the largest and the first zoo in India. The zoo has more than 2700+ animal species and 46 endangered species. One can cover the zoo on foot or hire the transport from the zoo. We hired a bicycle to go around the zoo. The zoo is open from 9:00 am till 5:00pm and the ticket price are Rs 90/- for adults and Rs 50/- for kids. The surprise in the zoo was seeing a deer out of the cage. It was the first time ever I had seen it. In fact, someone from the crowd started feeding him. The rhinos, elephants, tigers and reptile house are the major attractions here.
